front clip removal help
Ive tried searching this but it keeps saying fatal error so I'll post it. I'm trying to remove the entire front clip off a 71 c20 in one piece. for those of you who part these and could do this in your sleep, how many bolts total need to be removed and could you tell me exactly which ones need to be removed. I know this has to have been posted before but it won't allow to. Thanks!

Re: front clip removal help
there is a large bolt on the inner fender, the ones at the top of the fender by the door hinge, the ones at the bottom (dont forget about the one right below the rocker-the head is towards the frame) the bolts on the bottom of the inner fender the two core support bolts under the radiator and of course the wiring. the wiring should unbolt from the firewall and then pull away. just becareful to not damage the ends.
Someone feel free to correct/add if i missed anything |
