Re: stepside fender support rods
There are 2 on each fender that go from the lip up to one of the bolts that hold the fenders to the beside. (four total per truck)

Re: stepside fender support rods
When I redid my bed in 06 I never reinstalled them. I think one reason was I lost one of them. Now I cant find any of them...

Re: stepside fender support rods
LMC shows them in their catalog, 38-7368 is the number for the kit for one side with bolts. They don't give any measurements though.

Re: stepside fender support rods
thanks shyguy ...i was too stupid to realize that if i clicked on the page it would blow up to a size i could actually read ...however they show 2 and i think the truck had at least 3...my front ones had external thread and went thru a hole in the chassis secured by 2 nuts so they could be adjusted...i have 2 of those[one broken]they're 17'' long...i have 4 more 17 1/2 ''long with a hole on one end and a threaded hole on the other.i also have two 13'' ones with 45 degree tabs on the ends...maybe the 69 parts truck attached the fronts to the bed instead of the chassis? and where do the short ones go?
