strange there are no "luxury" cars in there. 5 million dollar garage for maybe 150k in cars? weird.

You call that a garage? I saw a couple tool cases, but where's the rest of the stuff? No lift, no hoist, no paint booth, no body shop. Doesn't even have any cool shvt hangin' on the walls. If I spent that kinda cash on a garage I'd make sure to put in a dyno and a wind tunnel...

Re: the mother of all garages...watch the whole video!
They showed ONE room upstairs and a couple of "cheap" cars underground. For a guy that spends money on a bunch of motorcycles and never drives them I'm sure he didn't want everyone to see what he reeaally parks downstairs. When explaining the elevator and underground garage he did mention that the cars down there had to be very well protected.

Very good point Nick. I would imagine security would be of utmost importance.
The owner mentioned that in the basement alone was millions in collector cars. . Last edited by ETsC10; 12-08-2012 at 01:39 AM. |

Re: the mother of all garages...watch the whole video!
As a general building contractor, I would have loved to do that project! I have had clients at this level. It's truly amazing how easy it is for them to pull the trigger on projects that only make sense to them and cost unbelievable amounts of time & money. Nice garage, small tool box and air hose. That shows me his concern is all about proper tire pressure . Cheers, Pat

It's like spending $1000.00 on a safe to lock up a $10.00 bill IMO. I wish I could afford boredom.

Re: the mother of all garages...watch the whole video!
Some would(did) say he should have just given the money away instead of building his garage. I say he DID give his money away. That 5 million was spread around to a lot people, supported a bunch of different businesses, and many different industries, all on his own dime. Good job I say.
