I had no trouble at all with clearances... there's plenty of room....

On the shaft, just tell the drive shaft shop what you are doing, they'll make it. Once everything is bolted down, just measure from yoke to yoke. the slip spline will give a few inches of travel to allow for suspension travel ect.....

ahh sooo aggervating, we tried 73 engine towers 68-71 engine towers and nothing would fit! nothing we tried swapping them sides, i dont know how y'all got that to work but good job. we used factory stright 6 mounts and drilling some new holes and a custom tranny cross member and its all good. so good job to the guys who got the BB motor mounts to work!
