Re: using newer silverado gauges in a 71 c10?

I have silverado gauges set up in mine similar to Gunny's. Very easy to do. You may need the correct sending unit for fuel and also the correct oil pressure sender depending if you have the 99-02 or 03-06 gauges, other than that you everything comes through the serial data and hook up the turn signals. It's a cheap and nice setup. I clipped my pigtail off an Oldsmobile Bravada which was a mistake because I had to change all the pinouts, but it did work. That's what I get for forgetting a torx driver when I went to the junkyard. The Olds already had the dash out.
