which sending unit ?
Im looking to buy a new fuel tank sending unit for my 82 Chevy
Has a 16 gal fuel tank, My old sending unit has 2 outlets only I seen some online that have 3 outlets which one should i buy Posted via Mobile Device |

Stay with the 2-line sending unit unless you're looking to add the factory style return line setup to your truck.
The 3-line sending units were used along with a 3-line fuel pump in order to add a small 1/4" return line to the system. The return line outlet on the fuel pump has a small orifice to let fuel vapor escape from the pump and it allows a tiny amount of fuel to recirculate back to the tank. This setup was used on certain vehicles/engines to help prevent vapor lock. |
