Depends a lot on what you want like just lower it good or fully lay frame.Wheel size can matter so can your budget too.If you just want it lowered good take a look at ridetech.com
They ain't the cheapest but the best at bolt in and lowering good.If you want it to lay frame porterbuiltfabrication.com or scottshotrods.com . |

Re: Bagging a 1979 chevy stepside?
As mentioned above, there are many ways to bag the truck, and all depending on what your goal is. We offer a few different levels of air ride kits, with the entry level being the Pro1. These kits use the Porterbuilt suspension, as well as quality components from AccuAir and VIAIR. To do the rear correctly, it is best to change to a 4-link or trailing arm setup vs. the leafs.
Pro 73-87 Air Ride Kits http://www.azproperformance.com/Pro-...Kits73-87-C10/ Pro1 73-87 Air Ride Kit http://www.azproperformance.com/Pro1...-Ride-Kit.html The Pro1 can be done with a 1/4" air management system, which would cost $625 less, making it $2,504 for the complete setup without spindles. Let me know if we can help you out any. If you are looking for a basic system to air bag the truck, and not wanting to lay frame, the Pro1 is an ideal kit. Everything stays under the bed and is all bolt-on, with the exception of the axle brackets for the trailing arms. Travis |
