Aftermarket suburban tailgates
Has anyone used or heard anything about the aftermarket/replacement tailgates that are available for Suburbans? Is the quality decent and do they fit well without much modification? My dad is trying to decide whether to buy an aftermarket one or look for a good used one for his '74 Suburban. Thanks.

Re: Aftermarket suburban tailgates
I'll have to look, but I'm pretty sure I have a gate in my shop. IIRC it's power and is missing the glass, and it came off a mid 80's burb. I have no use for it...it's yours if you want...but let me make sure I have it.
