transmission coolant lines HELP!

Today I am going to try and get a few thinks done on my truck. I want to reconnect the coolant lines to the transmission and radiator. I don't remember which line went where. They were disconnected from both ends and i haven't been able to find a diagram that shows which line goes where.

The upper line on the radiator goes to the lower fitting on transmission, and the lower one on the radiator goes to the upper fitting on the transmission . Hth,Dan

Re: transmission coolant lines HELP!

On a TH400 the lower fitting is the cooler feed line and the upper is the return. At the radiator cooler I don't remember. But the flow, it would seem, should be lower in upper out to clear air bubbles just like the heater core.
