Finally Got it Back Together.
Been over a year sence the last motor gave up the ghost, but I finally have my ole rat rod running again. Hope to have all the lil kinks worked out by the time the track opens after the new year. Anyway here is a bad video I took while adding antifreeze the other night. Truck is running the same exhaust as the old motor, 3" with 2 chamber flowmasters that dump after the cab. Will need to run the exhaust farther back before I try driving it around town.

Re: Finally Got it Back Together.
It's a 383 with 10.3 to 1 compression RHS pro action 220 heads with Cometic gaskets Probe SRS pistons with Steelfire rings Scat crank and rods. It has a small street solid roller in it by Comp cams. It's built to take up to a 300 shot but I wont be spraying it for awhile. I am currently installing front disc brakes and a 2.5"/4" drop then it's off to Houston Drivetrain for a new drive shaft. Hope to have everything done in the next few weeks but my luck with this truck hasn't been all that great.

Re: Finally Got it Back Together.
Making some progress today. Got the new rear springs and shocks in and the drop spindles and brakes in. Just need to mount the new master cylinder and prop. valve and run the new brake lines. Hope to get that done sometime this week.
