me i'd check into weather the resistance wire has been eliminated and a dedicated 12V wire run to fire the HEI correctly

folding over and taping up and lettin things just dangel away as loose ends invites a further problem in the future when it is the least opportune time like at midnight in the middle of nowhere in a rainstorm
