Amazing paint
I just had to mention something about my dads "57 1 ton.
For many years the thing sat outside in the weather used occasionally for small farm hauling. About 25 years ago he painted it with Rustoleum paint the original paint had started to rust though pretty badly. Knowing my father he did little to prep the truck for painting. Likely not even sanding. My dad died last year and the truck does now have some cancer requiring major repairs. However the darn thing is still mostly sound and the only real problems are where you would expect them in the door skins and floors of the cab which were not painted except by chevy.
