How much do ss slam bags ballon out?

I was wondering how much the front bags with say 50 psi will ballon out when hitting a bump ... i have the 7" I am installing a factory front sway bar and dont want to bags to hit the end of the sway bar side that goes on the a arm...

I'm guessing you've got Air Lift bags right now. I had to cut 3/4 inch off each end of my stock sway bar to keep the bags from touching and it still comes redonkulously close to the sway bar mount. Not to mention how much I had to hack the bump stop and steering stop on my lower A arms. It's crossed my mind to just switch to the SS bags.

i have the 7" ss slam bags now, my truck never had a sway bar. it sticks out past the mounts a little bit.towards the air bag but if the bag doesn't ballon much i dont think it will hit...

i redrilled the mounts on the frame to pull the swaybar away from the bags
i think it was like a 1 1/2 forward

The Slam SS7 will not balloon. This is its main selling point. Air Lift Dominators will balloon slightly as do Firestones. The Dominator is a quality bag, and with the recent price increase on the Slams, the Dominator is the best value. The trimming of the sway bar and bumpstop bracket is common with both bags.

Not exactly sure.... They now sell at $105 a pop!!!!!!!! We used to sell them for $75 a piece.

They are definitely a nice bag and in certain applications are worth the added expense. Just doesn't make sense on our C10's when you can get two Dominators for $25 more than the price of one Slam.

The Slam is an option (for an additional charge).... but the stage 1 and stage 2 kits are priced with and come standard with the Dominators. Make sense?
