'69 door info replacement
need info on where to purchase a driver door shell, "69c10, read about some of the replacement sheet metal not fitting and makes more of a job getting um to fit, any info will be helpful, thanks.

yes sir, kind of what i was thinking, this site is just full of good guys with great info. when you need it, and only thing on finding one that is in good shape is freight cost,almost half price of shipping, can't find any close to home in south louisiana, thanks fopr the message.

Alot of new sheet metal is made from old factory dies. These dies wear out and get damaged. I have had new fenders and door be a total pain in the A$$ to line up, even had to bend a couple fenders into place. For my rig I am buying new steel to weld into the doors since the original doors line up so good now.

check with gmc pauls or classic heartbeat. they both sell sheet metal and install it on there projects.
