How much does an AD bed weigh??

I will be trying to set my ride height tomorrow on Henry, but will not have the bed on.

How much does the bed weigh? Any guesses? Trying to guess how much the rear will drop once I install it.

Around 200? I used to be able to lift one end by myself. Look up someone that sells repos and see if it lists shipping weight.

Two of us lifted mine off with the fenders on......sure seemed heavier than 200lbs.

Re: How much does an AD bed weigh??

I would say about 300-400 but since its so spread out it makes it alot easier. two people should be able to do it relatively easily, if not then at least you wont have to lift it for two long just takes a min to lift and set on the frame. Like always the more the better.
I dont think it will drop a whole lot when you put it on the frame. mines a 47-53 bed on a 1964 frame, and got very little traction with it in the snow couldnt make it up a few hills by my cabin. but then again ive got pretty stiff suspension.

with fenders and tailgate, I'd say about 300. two can lift it, but 3 is definately better.
