wheel help ?

hi i found a set of 8 lug 15 x 10 american racing slotted mag wheels and i was wondering if a 15 in wheel woukd clear on my dana 60 and if not is there anything i can do to makemthem work

Generally, 15" wheels will not clear the front brake calipers on a C20 or K20. You can usually grind a small amount off the calipers and gain enough clearance for steel wheels to fit, but those aluminum wheels may be too thick. Unless someone who has actually done it chimes in, you may need to test fit them in order to know for sure. If they almost fit, you can get away with grinding the calipers.

I never seen an aluminum 8 lug 15" wheel. I've had 15" 8 lugs before, and it's alot of grinding on a Dana 60. I think aluminum would be too much, in less it has a crazy offset.

Aluminum 15" wheels on a Dana 60 would require A LOT of grinding, much more than steelies.

Not only the caliper had to be ground,the backing plate needs a lot of grinding as well.Just done this on my K25 last fall to fit 15x10 wagon wheels.Like others said,aluminum would be worse.If you have a semi floater,you will have to grind pretty well all the fins off the drums as well.My full floater fit ok.
