Re: Highlander upholstery

Is this for a complete seat cover? If so, I'd be very interested in a blue plaid one.

yes this is for the complete set-up, vinyl outers with the highlander inserts on the backs and buns. Just let me know what color vinyl you would like, the first few we have had done have been in parchment vinyl.

Thanks, chris

Re: Highlander upholstery

How do you think this would look with the medium blue vinyl with the blue plaid material?

I have a blue/white thing going on for my interior and my cheap seat cover is torn at the top (very cheap/thin vinyl material.)

I think that would look great, I am just a big fan of the parchment vinyl because of the contrast. Your truck has a lot of blue with white accents which is basically what the plaid is mostly blue with white and black lines. I can see it both ways and i think either would look great but the blue would be more like your door panels blue on the outside white accents in the center. maby we should ask some other members.

thanks, chris

Re: Highlander upholstery

If I was you 67 Chevy I would change to white door panels and arm rests at the same time to lighten/freshen it all up. I have a 72 Highlander and just bought a set of buddy buckets. This has me thinking about going back with a Highlander cover.

They are the same but there is no scrolling in the center bar like some had. The buckets and blazer seats had no scroll so they are exact. You can have the center scroll insert made at sms auto fabrics but its pretty expensive and not always the best stamp. I have seen some good ones and some bad.

thanks, chris

They are still available at the original price for both of you, but i dont think the measurements i was given were all correct so i need to check tomorrow on a bench seat at the shop. I know the bucket measurements are correct because i just measured mine. I just want to double check before i misadvertise something.

Thanks, chris

Re: Highlander upholstery

Chris. can you give me a price for a complete set for a blazer (2buckets,1rear) in blue/ parchment? Mine is originally gray but would like to change to blue . Did I understand you correct... you say yours does not come with the scroll?

Re: Highlander upholstery

@ Yellow highlander; do you know someone that is reproducing Highlander bench seat covers? If so, please give me their number, I'm currently working on a 72 Custom deluxe short bed with the highlander package with a factory big block, Ochre & white two tone, glove box says black/white plaid. I spent a fortune on hounds tooth & later found out it was wrong. Thanks, Tom

I know this is a old post, but can you still do these. I just dropped off a set of buddy buckets at the upholstery shop last week with some plain parchment covers, but I really wanted orange highlander with the parchment. If you can do it let me know asap , it may not be to late to stop the upholstery guy before he puts on the other covers.
