Turn signal fuse keeps blowing, e-brake light won't go off.
In my '86 pickup, I keep blowing the 15A fuse for the signal lights. Also, I've noticed my e-brake warning light in the dash continuously burns. I'm suspecting either a short or some fouled wiring somewhere but I'm not sure how to check for those problems. Anyone have any advice? Are these two problems related?

Check buld sizes. An incorrect size will burn up fuses. Check for burned bulb. A bad socket will also burn fuses.
For the e-light, adjust the pedal switch. |

I hate to be needy, but I have no idea what that is or where it's at. This is my first rodeo when it comes to tending to an older vehicle.

Follow the emergency pedal up the kickpanel. At the top of the pedal there is a switch. The switch activates the instrument bezel e-light. Better yet, pull the e-brake release handle. Your pedal may not be all the way "up". If it is, then the switch is out of adjustment.
