vehicle transport-from Big D to NJ - ideas- recommendations

I'm looking to get a truck transported here to NJ from Dallas area. give me ideas or recommendations. this is not a 50K show truck so an open trailer is OK. very shortly the truck will be in a town called Emory, Tx. which is about 80 miles east of Dallas.I want it brought to Me in Pennsville, N.J.. because of some current family/health situations I cannot go get it myself. I could prolly meet someone half way though?? One transport company i called wants $1100 and for 1400 miles thats high. A doctor here in town bought a mustang in Calif. and had it brought the 3000 miles for $1000. thanx for any help , DAVE

Dave, check out www.dasautoshippers.com. my buddy and i just had a '72 Firebird shipped from Phoenix to a terminal 1/4 mi away from his house for $741. guaranteed 10 days shipment too. overall a great place to deal with. they are one of the primary shippers that EBay recomends, so you know they're good.
