So the other day, i finally got to meet the guy who drives the only other k10 shorty in town. I was on a parts run and i saw him in the parking lot, so i pulled in next to him and finally got to compare the two! The orange one is mine, the one sitting next to it is the only reason i didn't paint mine red! Anyway, this guy is hispanic, speaks very little english, but has done all the work on this truck himself, as have I. Both of them are '79s. Both have 350s. Both have 4 speeds. Gotta say, hes got good taste These trucks are more similar than i thought. The only big difference is I did a 3/4 ton swap. I hate to admit it, but his is actually a lot cleaner than mine, its got a nicer paint job, under the hood is a little better looking (for now) and the interior is complete. But mines got more goodies! And bigger tires! hahaha
