Re: Some pics of my 66
This truck had 24,400 original miles. It is in pretty good original shape. It is the first of these trucks I've ever owned that the fenders weren't rusted.

Re: Some pics of my 66
Next week I'm getting some work done on it. I'm going to have an RV shop check out the propane system and appliances. It has gas hot water( an on demand system) a heater, a cook stove and a gas or electric fridge.
The water heater is pretty cool it's made by Jünkers of West Germany. In 1966 how many Americans had ever seen or heard of an on demand water heater? I'm taking it into a shop to have a boot made for the gap between the cab and the Koach. (Their spelling, not mine.) some idiot of a PO cut out a good portion of the backside of the cab and the front of the coach for a walkthru. It exposes both section to the elements. Re: Some pics of my 66
Rich I had this at a show last Saturday, it was not up to par with all the show cars there but it did get a lot of attention.
Ohh and gas mileage 8.4mpg on the freeway doing between 60-65. Tuesday I had a bit of a scare. I was boogeying down the 81 doing about 65 when all the sudden I got a buck-buck-buck thing happening. I immediately backed off the gas and it quit. Got onto a side road doin 40ish and it happened again. When I got to my buddies Dave's shop I checked and sure enough the fuel filter had some crud in it. Easy fix, Dave called his parts house and had them send over 2 new filters. 1 for then and 1 for a spare. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Some pics of my 66
Where is the tank on it, you might want to pull it and have it boiled out, might prevent a lot of road side stops...

Re: Some pics of my 66
Under the coach left side. Supposedly a reconditioned tank... If I have more issues ill have to get that done.
