59 3100 Rear brake shoes
I have a 59 3100 that needs rear brakes shoes thus ordered a set from Brothers.
However the width of the new are 1.34" where the orig are 2", is this the norm? Has anyone replaced the rear shoes? I would have thought they would need to be the same width? Thanks in anticipation. |

I think the 2" wide brake shoes are for the front axle. The rear shoes should be narrower. Rock Auto lists the rear shoes to be 1 3/4"x11", fronts are 2"x11".
