Hopefully you can make use of this great resource during your restoration. P.S. - though it's not necessary to write a book with every post, we could stand a tad more info, and always LOTS of pics. |

Re: 63 c10
Can anyone explain why my front parking lights I think they are called, are clear? I know they changed to orange in 63.

Re: 63 c10
Clear would have been an upgrade, with the amber bulbs.
If you want them to be amber again you can still get them but you should change the bulbs back to clear, to ensure your getting the proper illumination to be safe! LMC, and many other places on th web will carry them! Also, we'll come to the best source of info on your new truck! Posted via Mobile Device

Re: 63 c10
1962 was the first year for the shark nose style hood. It was equipped with Clear turn signal lenses. 1963 legislation called for Amber lenses. Does your Serial # start with a 3?

Re: 63 c10
Also the 60-62 frame is different than 63-66. If it has a x-frame its 60-62 if its a ladder frame 63-66. My 62 has clear lenses and the lights stay off where the 63-up are on with the headlights.

Re: 63 c10
The '63-'66 turnsignal lights do not stay illuminated when the headlights are on, unless someone has added the jumper wire.

Re: 63 c10
Under and to the left of the lil google search bar it says gallery, click that.
Now 2 rows down from there, under the ad, it says upload photos, click that. In the 2nd box it lets you browse and select which pic you want. Remember that any pic has to be 500 KB or smaller. If it is too big use MS paint to resize it. Unless you're on an Apple product... Now hit upload/submit. Just do 1 pic at a time until you get the hang of it. Posted via Mobile Device
