275/60 and 295/50 combo pics

Anyone running this combo? Thinking about running 275/60's all the way around on factory 8" rallies but thought about maybe going with bigger rubber in the back provided it would fit fine (lowered 2" in the back).

You don't want to do that. A 295-50 is a good bit shorter than a 275-60. You're gonna have the little wheel in the back syndrome going on.

If I was running a 275/60 in the front what is a good size to run in the back that's a bit wider? Or should I look to get a narrower front tire instead?

Re: 275/60 and 295/50 combo pics

If I remember right, a 275-60 is around 28 inches in diameter. A 295-50 is something like 26.8. Again, if I remember right a 255-60 is 26.5. I work in a tire shop and that is the combination I am thinking about on my 69. Ill recheck those numbers Sunday when I go back to work. Hope this helps. Chris

Re: 275/60 and 295/50 combo pics

After checking my handy dandy notebook (summit catalog) a 295-50 is 26.8. A 255-60 is 27, and a 245-60 is 26.6. Hope that helps. Chris
