By how heavy the tie rod ends and linkages are Compared to a 1/2ton I'd say it's factory. Here it is right after I pulled it. I now have a rebuilt one on it

If you have a 3770509 pulley it will work just fine.

Would using the V8 pulley cause the pump to push fluid out the top from spinning too fast?
I have that problem with my inline 6 right now, don't know the number on the pulley but it
looks pretty small to me. What diameter is the 6 cyl pulley supposed to be?

If im thinking right a larger pulley would slow it down. Therefore it shouldn't overflow, yours overflowing is from a restricted line somewhere
