After taking out the Saginaw tranny, bell housing, blah blah blah I cannot get the new starter on properly. I chose a flex plate and starter from a 72 Caprice because I'm running a sbc 400. Anyone had any experience with this? My shimming skills must be terrible, because its still not sounding great. ANY help would be appreciated.
