Re: Anyone else mess with old Garden tractors?
My dad passed away last month and my brother and I are starting to sell off most of his inventory. He has some sweet vintage mowers and I will be keeping the 1968 suburban 12 that has been in the family throughout the years. Anyway, heres a few pics of what I have and will be restoring a few.

mytractorforum.com They would really appreciate all the those. And if you have and if you have any other older Sears tractors I would enjoy seeing them. Good luck man.

Re: Anyone else mess with old Garden tractors?
About 5 years back a got this 1987 Cub Cadet 1320 Hydro from my brother in law that was in pieces and rusted out. He joked that I would never get it back to running condition. I took it as a challenge and went overboard with restoring it. I tore it down to the frame and sand blasted everything and thanks to a friend that owns a body shop, I did the body work and painted it (more than 1 person that walked in the body shop thought I was nuts for going as far as I did). I had a few parts rhino lined and another friend that works on Cub Cadets went over all the belts, pulleys and engine. The cutting deck is perfect also but I don't use it to cut the grass so thats hanging up in the shed. The stickers are not period correct but I had to stop the crazyness and just settled. Also built from some parts a leaf vac system and re did my trailer to match the Cub. I hope to get to my 1975 C-10 stepside soon but I got involved re doing a dune buggy go kart for my daughter and promised that I'd finish it before I started on the truck (almost done with it! - last pic shows what I started with)

Re: Anyone else mess with old Garden tractors?
Its not very old.(8 years)
Neighbor is moving to Arizona (no lawn) gave me there Toro. Going from a 19" push mower to this w/ 50" Should make me more time to tackle the Craftman tractor. (ya right!) Pretty happy!
