Re: Should i buy this radiator?

Um, Aluminum is good and bad. Light but expensive also doesn't have much for heat sink which is important to manage heat as a bye product of inefficient engines. I had a similar decision to make and went from a 3 row brass to a 4 row brass radiator commonly called a "big block". I wanted extra cooling capacity for towing with a 700r4 without buying a transmission oil cooler. I had to buy new supports and drilled out my old bottom ones. It has the AC hose connection but I don't have AC so I made a "T" connection. It's OK, looks pro and bought the 4 row for $50.00 off craiglist. I took it and my heater core to the radiator shop, had them boiled and tested. The guy painted them and combed the fins too. That was $75.00. I am good, $125.00 and have OEM parts and confidence they are OK too. G.
