Re: need some bolt sizes

The genIII 6.0L "Thread Repair Specifications" shows the thread size in the front side of the head (and they don't list the rear) all to be the same, being M10 x 1.5". Also shows maximum drill/tap depth of 28.0/20.0mm or 1.10"/0.787".

Seems I remember some bolts from the accessory bracket bolting to the middle or bottom of the front of the block. If you need specific holes...let me know and I'll double check.... but what I'm seeing is specs of either M8 x 1.25" or M10 x 1.5" for all holes....mostly M8 x 1.25" tho.

Now.........keep this in mind...these are bolt hole thread repair specs! Not the "bolt" specs. So I'd imagine you need to factor this in to the overall length of each bolt you need. You certainly DON'T want to bottom out a bolt.

Not seeing "accessory bracket" torque specs....but M8's look to be 18-22ft lb. and the M10's 37 ft lbs.... but could be different for accessory bracket/p.s. bolts.

Use this information at your own discretion...not responsible for damages should something be other then what I have listed and something break or fall off.

Hope this helps!
