Canopy on a Stepside

I am wanting to put a canopy on my 92 Stepside. I know there is a special canopy made for these that forms to the back of the cab, but is there another that will fit???

Re: Canopy on a Stepside

You might have better luck in the 88-98 section.

But if I were you, I'd get some measurements (width and length) then see if any of the mid size or mini trucks match, then go from there.

By canopy, do you mean a truck topper?

Re: Topper for Stepside

I have seen them, but it's been a while. It's possible to lurk thru some of the people who made/sold them, like Leer, Century and so forth. There are other mfr's, depending on where you live...in some cases.

Re: Topper for Stepside

Back when I sold toppers, Unicover made aluminum toppers for stepsides.

This company will make what ever you want.

But they are not the smooth fiber glass painted ones.

Re: Topper for Stepside

Go to a canopy dealer. They will have catalogs to order from. Due to age, will probably have to be special order.

Re: Canopy on a Stepside

Man, you stuck your hand in the poo bucket and pulled out a rose. I never seem to have luck like that. Good on you.
