Guage cluster question
Short of installing the gauge cluster into my truck and having all the wiring done and ready to fire up, is there a way to check all my gauges to see what works and what doesnt? I have the gauges all tore apart and I am re-finishing the cluster, so I would like to see what works and what doesnt. Anyone have any suggestions? thank you in advance.

Re: Guage cluster question
The oil pressure gauge is mechanical and has to have the pressure to work. The fuel & ammeter can be checked electrically. Im not sure about the temp gauge. I do not personally know how to check them electronically off a bench, but Im sure that someone here can and will help. I just know that they can be bench tested.

Re: Guage cluster question
I would say post in the electrical section or wait for a response here. The fuel guage works of 0-30ohms, and Im not sure how to bench test it. I would assume 12v source for the ammeter would work though.
