IIRC you need the high hump to clear the t-case. But the good news is that a low hump can easily be converted to a high. Its done the same way the factory did, cut away the low hump leaving a flange and bolt down the high hump to added weld nuts. Just buy a cover maybe from the classifieds here and everything will fall into place. At this point my big concern would be if the the cab mounts were modified and no longer fit a 67-72 frame.

Here is a parts manual clip with the proceedure for hump modification.
