Hard top

I just looked at a hard top for my 72 that they said was also off a 72.There is no 3" lip on it to bolt it to the body.Don't they all have that ?None are bolted up thru the body?It also has a 6" round done light.Appears to be double walled.Anything you guy know??

Re: Hard top

Double walls bolt up thru the bed rail into the top, single walls bolt down thru the top thru bed rail into capured nuts on strip of steel, single walls have two rectangle dome lights, doubles have none

Re: Hard top

If you got pictures, we could tell you in a couple seconds if it is a first gen hard top.
