71/72 OEM GMC Grille, cross bar, bezels

I have an OEM grille for a 71/72 GMC in perfect condition, other than mild weathering and paint wear. There is not one ding or gouge on it or the cross bar or bezels. The anodizing is not hazed, and IMO could be polished out for a nice driver. If you were to completely strip it and polish it out and paint the black detail, it would be show quality. It does not need any metal work or straightening. It doesn't even look like a rock has ever hit it anywhere...there is no "rash" on the surface, nary a scratch. The top bar is stamped 3940836. The grille is stamped 3985064. I was saving this for a future project, but the current project needs finishing! WIW?

Re: 71/72 OEM GMC Grille, cross bar, bezels

I'll take a stab at it and say something in the neighborhood of $500,considering the cist of new and even great cost (as I've heard) for re-chroming. I have a '67 and a 71/72 that nice that I was lucky to fond and paid way less, but it's been a while, and we know how that goes.
