Rear Axle

Hey guys... another question for you... found out my driver side rear axle is shot. (Long story, but it was a PO fix that ruined it).

Are the driver and passenger axles the same? I know I have a 30 spline. I found this pretty cheap (under $100 including shipping... with seals and bearings) , but it doesn't specify, or seems to state that it is interchangeable. I thought one shaft was shorter.

Re: Rear Axle

If it's a 12 bolt the shafts are the same on either side.

Re: Rear Axle

Yes it is... thank you.

Am I good on the price? It seems like a steal. Or should I try to hit up a junk yard and get something? Is the Dorman a bad axle?
