Blazer door reassembly order

Is this the correct door reassembly order?

1.install regulator

2.install door glass

3.install vent window

4.install rear door glass guide

5.slide in rear door glass glide felt (I know there is a small screw in the top, but do you need to use any 3m rubber adhesive to keep it in the channel?)

6.install door glass squeegees

Re: Blazer door reassembly order

Add some time for cursing in between each of those.

Re: Blazer door reassembly order

Not sure of this Tom, but you may want to assemble the reg. and window without mounting the bolts for the reg. up. Try it outside the door first, and see how it goes together. For some reason it sticks in my head that thats the way i did it. Somehow i supported the weight of the glass, half way in the door, then offered up the reg. to the bottom of the window glass channel

Just dont put your vent window in first, or you will be taking it out like i did to put the window in

I built some j hooks for the wipers out of sheet metal, easy to pull up the clips for the wipers

Let us know how you made out, and what not to do

Re: Blazer door reassembly order

BBrendal could you send me your notes? I'll be doing the same thing soon and would also like to avoid the cursing in between steps as much as possible!
