I was in a similar boat and decided on selling. My Jimmy was fully restored, the top still needed quite a bit of work. I didn't have a tall enough garage to create a hoist system, it was double wall too so I was afraid of destroying the side of my truck in trying to put it back on. The main factor for me, is this is totally a sunny day ride for me, If there is a chance of rain, I don't drive it. I actually haven't even got a softtopper yet for that reason. I think I will eventually, as luck would have it, we've had the nicest summer I can ever remember so I've been able to have it as my daily driver since early June! I'd admit that if I had a garage to enable a hoist system, I would have kept it and restored it.
