speedo adjustment
My truck is running stock suspension with 285/75 r16 tires and my speedo is about 8 mph off at 60mph on the speedo. I checked it against my gps that seems pretty money compareing it to my speedo in my work truck.
How do you adjust the speedo in the stock gage? Can you? Eventually I will run much bigger tires and will need to adjust even more probably. |

Re: speedo adjustment
Plug your info into these calculators.
http://www.tciauto.com/tc/speedometer-gear-calculator Try to find a ratio of drive and driven gears to get a whole number? Or at least, closest to a whole number. To change the drive gear, you'll have to remove the tailshaft. |
