Saginaw 3 speed/307 v-8
I am going to aquire a Saginaw 3 Speed standerd transmission and a mated 307 V-8. I do not need these and was wondering if they have any value. The motor spins, but I have not tried to crank it (it has been sitting in a shed for 30 years-no accessories has great looking oil in the pan. Saginaw is in the same shape. Also have the column with the rods if anyone knows what these are worth.

Re: Saginaw 3 speed/307 v-8
I advertised that same engine on CL here in Austin a few months back and the only bite I got on it was for 50 bucks. I decided to keep it in the barn.

The Saginaw trans should be a fast sale if you have any dirt tracks in your area...There are several variations of transmissions, some are stronger/lower gears ect, so do a little home. Something to do with ring count..

Re: Saginaw 3 speed/307 v-8
Well good to know. I was trying to buy a truck I needed a few parts from and wanted to break even with the stuff I didn't but looks like that is not going to work out. Thanks for all of the help!
