I got a little money to spend!
So I got a little bit of cash and I was thinking of getting rear drop springs, a notch and an adjustable track bar for the rear. Also getting the sway bar mounts for the front so that I can install the sway bar I have. I currently have TJ springs in the rear and if you set a beer can in the rear it sags.
My question is are the CPP springs gonna be the same way or can I actually load my bike in the back without the truck bottoming out? I'm not sure if Im gonna need the notch with 5 inch springs but I wanna have it in case I go lower. I currently have six lugs in the rear and five in the front so I could spend the money converting the rear but I have baby moons hiding the bolt patterns so that doesnt really concern me. Any better suggestions on how to spend the money?

Re: I got a little money to spend!
I think they make "heavy duty" drop springs for towing. Stiffer ride with more weight capacity

Re: I got a little money to spend!
You can do rear bags with schrader valves for not much more than springs and then you're adjustable if you do carry a load.

Re: I got a little money to spend!
I have a set of small bags that a buddy gave me I just wasnt sure how they'd handle any loads. They're pretty small looking. I'll post pics later.

Re: I got a little money to spend!
You could also use a set of rear "helper" springs... My 65 came with them.

Re: I got a little money to spend!
I forgot, I have a small universal c notch. Is the frame on our trucks at an angle that would prevent me from using it? Its really straight.

Re: I got a little money to spend!
I have 2500# bags in the rear of mine, no notch yet and I love the ride.. The load capacity is good too.. Check my build thread for some pics.

Re: I got a little money to spend!
If you go with 5 inch drop you will need new shocks and a relocator kit. Hows that for "helping" spend your money?
