nice truck, 454 in a stepside? where's the pic of it doing a 300' burnout. I can get rubber with this stone stock 305 in my 85 with 2.73's, man they are light in the butt! and your 200# heavier in the nose.:-) , DAVE

Just got back from doing burnout pics...bad photographer(wife) LOL Ill have to do it again later...it does do a nasty smoker
The 454 is a stock rebuilt bottom end with a Comp cams 268H. stock heads Performer intake 770CFM Holley vac. sec. , D.U.I. ignition by Perf. Distributers & Sanderson Shorty headers with 2.5" exhaust with Dynomax turbos. Glad everyone aproves..its a bunch of fun Thanks, John

That's a sweet stepper you have there i wanted factory BB Pwr. in my '87 but chevy wouldn't let me have it......Bastard's!

Love that grille but im not too crazy about the roll pan & light's.

Wow. I just did a desktop dyno of a stock 454 with that cam and your probobly pushing well over 400TQ.

I played with it to, came up with 452 ft. lbs. @ 2500 & 358HP @ 4000 RPMs... its fun, Ill want more eventually lol

78 sweet truck you have there. Im gonna assume its a 305. my 76 short step I use to have ran 14.10s with a mild 305...it was fun
