73-87 different boxes? or just me?

I will post a couple pics to show what I mean, but did these trucks have differenct fenders on their stepside beds, or is this just the pictures? Some look sharper, some rounded off! does the colour affect it?

the way i understand it
73-78 were the same left had a fuel hole that was round
79-87 had a square fuel hole on the right

some of the older ones also had a side marker lite on the stepside fender 73-78
this is all according to Chevy Duty Catalogue

but the shape of the fender is the same? like the same press punched em all off?

Yes....... Thoes 3 trucks you posted have the same fender shape ie punched from the same die the only differance is the one with the side marker but it has the same shape.

The 67-72 stepside fenders are a differant shape ie punched from a differant shaped die.

But both styles or shapes are interchangeable.

I think color, lighting, and angle affect the look of them in photo's

definitely the same. the second pic looks like a girl's truck. i wouldnt mind seeing a few pics of the driver.
