Rear Frame Support

Just bought a 68 K10 with an 88 bed. The rear frame support looks like they tried to pull the truck out using that support and it buckled. Anyone with this problem/solution before? The rear driver side shock mount has also busted off the frame. Any advice would be great, thanks!

Re: Rear Frame Support

Welcome to the site! You got a little problem there haven't you? even if you had another rear crossmember there is nothing under there to bolt it back up to it is gone as well. That frame looks kinda rusty, maybe a rear frame section is in order for you. or just cut one off of another truck then mount up the shock bracket and the crossmember and have the parts that are missing filled in with frame channel by someone with a good welder and a intamate knowledge of how to run it.
