Thanks for the help guys.

I didn't buy from here, but as far as I can tell, these are the same bags:

The brackets are actually like a platform, not a cup, which is the reason I really hoped I didn't have to use them. I figured it'd make the ride height higher, and the ride quality would suffer from having to air the bag out to lower it like I want.

I do have the frame c notched already. I'll just have to find the happy point to where the bed isn't hitting the rear end's top. I haven't found too many threads on driveshaft interference, so I might just see where I'm at after I get the bags installed.
