on those eaton third members look at the but end of the pinion and look at the last 2 two digit numbers and divide them. divide those and thats it. they wont be on the ring gear. you are gonna need a flshlight to look up in there and a rag will help for all the crap. if it has 3 (?? places that have like a 1" round rod") its a detroit ( no spin). if it has four then its open. also if you look inside the little observation hole in the 2nd pic. that one is smooth so its a no spin. if you see teeth then they are open. i also sent a pm to make sure yopu got it i know your busy.
