WTB: AM/FM Lens w correct Delco script for truck
Found a good van AM/FM and want to supplant the van lens for a correct truck lens as seen in the borrowed example pic with the cursive Delco in the bottom right corner. These were reproduced until recently so hoping someone may have a spare or perhaps a parts radio to scavenge from. Thanks, Pete

Classic Parts list the lens in their latest catalog but the picture is not too good. PN 69-317
Might be worth checking out. Jim

Re: WTB: AM/FM Lens w correct Delco script for truck
Thanks Jim. Looks like its listed as "out of stock" The same lens was listed in another parts catalog as well - it happened their supplier was out and couldn't get anymore as these are now discontinued. I suspect that'll be the case with Classic Parts too but will follow-up with them. Pete

Re: WTB: AM/FM Lens w correct Delco script for truck
If all else fails Pete, I can reverse cut some white vinyl to stick on the backside of the lens, chrome polish should remove the current lettering. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Re: WTB: AM/FM Lens w correct Delco script for truck
Do you know that the numbers on the truck radio are different then the van? The van numbers are white and thinner and the barrel is slightly different as well. There was someone selling a decal with the right color and size numbers at Carlisle trucks a few years back. I don't know if these are discontinued or not. Maybe someone on here knows. Ken.
