Interior color choice. Tan or black?

So my truck originally came with a tan interior but the dash was in bad shape so I filled in the cracks and bedliner sprayed it. It looks nice but I got some interior trim from another truck that was tan and are really nice 1973 panels. They are the hard to find small back panels for lap belt trucks. I don't think it's wise to paint these original panels so I may get newer model ones and sell the others to a restoration guy. I'm stuck between black or tan inside still. My truck is 1978 rootbeer brown metallic. You think I should go back to tan or black it out inside? What's going to help it be more appealing to buyers you think?
Here's some inside pics

If your leaving the dash black I'd do the rest black so it doesn't look pieced together......

just finishing up turning my crew from tan to black. if you use your truck, black hides dirt much better.
easier on the eyes too, not so loud

Re: Interior color choice. Tan or black?

I had a 78 with brown ext./tan ext./tan int.. I have a 75 that has brown ext. /tan int.. I have come to realize i hate brown/tan. Black intierior/ brown extierior looks a little better.

In the words of AC/DC, Back in Black! I think tan with a black dash would be odd. Black has a nicer look in my opinion

What color doesn't black go with? Just finished converting my crew from blue to black. Not to sound lazy or cheap but black is much easier and cheaper. So I would vote for mauve. What?

I agree. With all the work you've put into the truck, put the nicer trim in it.

I like the black, but not sure it would go with the brown.
What did you use for filler on the dash and what kind of bed liner did you use?

Re: Interior color choice. Tan or black?

I used duplicolor bed liner. The cheap stuff. It doesn't have any sand grit in it.
My door panels came out pretty good.

As for the dash. The spot putty cracked in the extreme cold and now you can see little red lines.... Finding brown interior parts isn't hard for me since I will fabricate most of the stuff such as a vinyl cover for the dash and new material for the head liner. Buy decisions will have to be made. Still unsure but I think I will try both colors.
