72 1/2t suburban frame f/s
I am parting out a 1/2 ton 2 wd 72 suburban. The body is trash, but the frame is real solid. It has 3.08 coil rear (non posi) and fr. disc and fr. stabilizer bar. Is there any market a solid frame, or should I send it to the scrap yard with the rest of the body?

how trashed is the body?
I could use a nice section or the rear drivers side body panel! from the bottom of the body to about a foot from under the glass. Also from the back of the rear wheel to the bumper. This is the section:

Well, here are some pictures. Beware, it's ugly. The guy parked it in a field about 12 years ago and stored dog food and junk in it. The mice took over and totally trashed the interior. There was about 4 inches of chewed up seat, paper, carpet, and rat turds on the floor that held moisture and rotted the floor and door bottoms. $300 for rolling frame with auto crossmember, ps box, fr and rear bumper brackets. $100 for bare frame.
Krue, I have a few disc brake front crossmembers. $125 complete. |

Do you still have the locking mechanism for the tailgate? If so, I'd like to buy the tailgate guts. Keith

No good tailgate latch. It was locked up. I took everything off this truck that was salvagable (which was'nt much). Then I cut off all the body bolts, hauled it to the scrap yard, and let them pull the body off the frame. I still have the frame for sale with gas tank, fr. and rear bumper brackets, ps box, auto crossmember, front stabilizer (see post on Suburban board)
