Re: Bought this 1964 Crew Cab on Craigslist
I'd be interested in that bed trim from the donor if you're not going to use it.
sweet truck! I've always loved the crew cabs. Can't remember seeing any chevys around here, but there was a 66 dodge crew a few years back i drooled over. |

Re: Bought this 1964 Crew Cab on Craigslist
I think that truck was too nice to be a donor.

Man I love that truck you got. I went ahead and photoshopped a totally different look. Hope that's okay. Like it or love I just had to do it!
So how's the truck coming? |

Re: Bought this 1964 Crew Cab on Craigslist
I hope he didn't butcher it up. It is so hard to find original trucks with the original paperwork. I can understand wanting to customize a truck, but why not take a beat up piece of crap and do it instead of a nice original find like this one. I hope he listened to his "second thoughts" and either sold it as is or kept it as is. Just my 2-cents worth.

I think he has it for sale, IIRC he wanted like $6K for it last time I saw it.

Re: Bought this 1964 Crew Cab on Craigslist
Sorry to bump and old thread as a first post, but....
So I happen to see a old 60's crewcab Chevy that I didn't even realize they made back then. While trying to do research on old crewcabs, I come across this thread. It appears this truck has still been untouched. Here are the couple of pictures I snapped of it yesterday. Thought you fine gentlemen would like an update that it has been seen in southwest Michigan. |

Re: Bought this 1964 Crew Cab on Craigslist
Funny thing bout these trucks, while I was on deployment, I was surfing my local CL here in NW Washington (funny how a navy engineer gets down time, innit?) and came across one of those crew cabs that had the two front doors with the rear side windows that slid back like a half window and had a 3 1/2 ft bed, 600 bucks and it could use some tlc. Well, hopped on CL the next day and had saved the add, pulled it up off of my favorites and it had already sold. These things go as quick as they get put up.
