Project coming along.
When I brought it home.
Body is off and in Tecate Mx to fix all of the dents and rust. Frame was stripped to bare metal and we used POR15 on it. |

Re: Project coming along.
We got a donor truck. A 78 silverado and put the front end on it. This gives us disc brakes, rubber bushings and power steering. We put all new bushing, ball joints and tie rods in it.
Frame is ready to go to MX Went down to MX to check progress |

Re: Project coming along.
No, it's an 8'. (Note that it's a six lug/half ton with semi-float rear axle; only one tons came with 9' beds - 8 lugs and FF rear.)
Here's a similar shot of my 9' truck for reference. |

Re: Project coming along.
9 FT stepsides rock!!!! LOL! But that 8 footer almost can be mistaken for a 9 footer. They are neat.
